Where Koda Started

Koda is intelligent, high energy, and at the time she was in desperate need of training. Her owner does not give a tidy list of problems, because there was not a tidy list. There was everything at once.

That is common with a smart working breed. A German Shepherd without a job will invent one, and the job she invents is rarely the one you wanted.

The Training Journey

Koda went through the eight-week basic and advanced program with Lindsey and Blake.

Her owner describes them as extremely knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions, and good at explaining things clearly. But the moment that tells you the most came about six weeks in, when Koda started limping.

It turned out to be growing pains, and the vet gave her a few days off. Lindsey checked in on Koda and her owner every single day of it, and helped build a plan to keep a high-energy dog calm while still getting her mental work in.
